Description :

For many years, Sikkim was regarded as one of the last Himalayan Shangri-las because of its remoteness, spectacular mountain terrain, varied flora and fauna and ancient Buddhist Monasteries. The capital of Sikkim, Gangtok (means hilltop) sprawls down the west side of a long ridge flanking the Ranipul River. The scenery is spectacular and there are excellent views of the entire Kanchenjunga Range from many points in the environs of the city. Though relatively small Kalimpong is set among the rolling foothills and deep valleys of the Himalaya. Kalimpongs attractions include its peaceful ambience, three monasteries, lovely old churches & fine views over the surrounded countryside. Straddling a ridge at 2134m and surrounded by tea plantations, Darjeeling is a fascinating place where you can see Buddhist monasteries, visit a tea plantation, go for a ride on the chairlift, spend days haunting for bargain in colorful markets and handicrafts shops, or go trekking to high altitude spots.

Suggested Itinerary :

-	Day 01 : Darjeeling
	Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra at and transfer to Darjeeling (94kms / 3hrs), Overnight at Hotel.

-	Day 02 : Darjeeling
	Early morning at 3.30 AM start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. Breakfast at the Hotel followed by full day local sightseeing covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetian Refugee Self-help Center and visit to the Mall and Local Market (City Life).

-	Day 03 : Gangtok
	Morning transfer to Gangtok (114kms / 5hrs), en route visit Teesta, evening free, overnight at hotel.

-	Day 04 : Gangtok
	Morning starts the full day sightseeing in and around this capital city of Sikkim, covering Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms & Roomtek Monastery.

-	Day 05 : Gangtok
	AM start for a half day trip to Tshongu lake (12400 ft), which is only 32kms from Gangtok City, Evening free for shopping.

-	Day 06 : Kalimpong
	Morning Transfer to Kalimpong (78kms / 02hrs), Evening free, overnight at Hotel.

-	Day 07 : Kalimpong
	Am half day sightseeing in and around Kalimpong covering Durpin Dhara, Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brong Monastery, Flower & Orchid Nurseries & Kalimpong Market. Overnight at Hotel.

-	Day 08 : Bagdogra
	Transfer to Bagdogra Airport (70kms / 1.5hrs), Tour Ends.

We can provide accommodation in hotel starting from 2 Star to 5 Star Deluxe. Category as per your requirements.

Transportation :

We can provide you a AC or NON AC Vehicle depending on no. of persons travelling. The Vehicle and the Driver that we provide remains with you throughout the Tour.
